I bought one book this week (and I'm sure it's a book many of you also received this week!):


Kindle Book (Purchased):
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare: I am currently reading this book, and while it's good, for some reason it's taking me much longer to get through it than it took me to read the other books. 


Audible Audiobooks (Purchased):
I also bought two audiobooks this week:
City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare: Often I like to have both a book and the audiobook so that when I have to put down the book to run some errands or something, I can continue "reading." 
Insurgent by Veronica Roth: I bought a hardcover copy of Insurgent last week, but also wanted the audiobook.


I didn't add much to my collection this week, but I'm very happy with what I bought for myself!

  6. I'm wondering if there would be a difference between reading Insurgent and listening to it. I'm curious as to whether or not I would've felt less "cheated" with the book. I might look into renting it from the library.

  11. City of Lost Souls is also on my Kindle and I should really keep reading it. I got a little of the way through but for some reason it's not as good as I'd thought it would be. I guess I'll see how it goes. Great haul!

  12. COLS was amazing!!! Love that series! I have never listened to an audiobook but I have heard many people say how much they enjoy them. I should give one a try sometime. :)

  13. My enthusiasm for Cassandra's books has waned so I haven't rushed out to buy CoLS, I'm going to wait for some reviews to pop up! Also, I like that you got the audio books as well, I really want to try listening to a book soon

  14. Eeeee! I got CoLS too!
    You know what's crazy? I ADORED the first three TMI books, and read them all in a weekend... but I haven't read any of the books since... I OWN them all, and can't wait to get the time read them, but I think I'm kind of scared of cliffhangers and heartbreak >__<
